AVILUME
See the heat. Explore the color.
Combining thermal, digital day, and night images, Avilume multispectral binoculars change how you inspect nature’s beauty. When your eyes can’t spot that bird in a tree, Avilume’s thermal channel shows you where to look — or where to point your camera. The full-color digital channel helps you identify it. When the light fades, night vision keeps the session going. And all of that comes in a familiar binocular form.
The flagship XT50 Pro leads with a wide thermal view, built for exploring everything from lush forests to vast open landscapes.
The XR50 narrows that view slightly while increasing thermal sensitivity and offering higher magnification, making it a go-to choice in humid weather and for observing wildlife from further away.
Both are designed and manufactured in Europe — from idea to final assembly

AVILUME XR50
Avilume XR50 is built to keep its distance and cut through the fog, mist, and humidity that give standard optics trouble. A <18 mK NETD thermal sensor keeps the image clear when conditions get difficult, while its 4–32x magnification range lets you observe from further away without closing in.

Multispectral imaging for 24/7 observation
The multispectral channel system, combining digital day, night, and thermal imaging, means there’s no bad time to go wildlife watching. Use thermal vision to pick out animals through foliage or in tough weather, then switch to full-color or night vision to get a proper look — whether you’re identifying a distant warbler or following a fox long after dark.
Wide field of view for landscape scanning
The XT50 Pro’s wide 17.5° thermal field of view makes taking in the entire landscape easy. With more of the scene visible at once, spotting an animal sitting still or following a flying bird is both easy and convenient.
High thermal sensitivity in tough conditions
When mist, fog, or shifting temperatures make thermal observation difficult, the XR50’s noise-equivalent temperature difference (NETD) of <18 mK ensures reliable thermal imaging. A lower number means the device is able to capture smaller temperature differences, so you can still see who’s chirping in the forest.
Two visions, one clear image
Picture-in-picture (PiP) mode lets you combine thermal detection with digital identification in a single view, so you never lose sight of what matters. Your primary channel fills the main view, while your second channel appears as a small image in the upper part of the display, so you can track an animal and still keep an eye on the surrounding landscape at once.
High-performance European thermal sensor
A highly sensitive European thermal sensor delivers sharp imaging and detects subtle temperature differences, so nothing stays hidden. Its strong performance in low-contrast conditions, rain, or fog makes it ideal for birdwatchers, photographers, conservation professionals, and wildlife observers.
4K digital sensor for day and night
During the day, the 4K digital sensor captures full-color images with enough clarity to tell one species from another at a glance. In twilight, when your eyes barely distinguish color, the powerful digital sensor still displays a full-color image. When the sun sets completely, Avilume’s digital image turns black and white, although the details remain preserved — so you can enjoy observation no matter the hour.
Steady view at any magnification
Avilume takes care of natural hand movement, keeping the view steady even at high zoom with integrated digital image stabilization. Instead of wrestling with a shaking frame, you can focus on what actually matters — the bird on the branch, the animal in the grass.
Photo and video recording across all channels
Capture photos and video with sound across all three imaging channels — thermal, full-color digital, and night vision. Then, share the footage with your friends or use it to identify the species from both looks and calls.
Enhanced detail in total darkness
When darkness makes it difficult to see clearly, Avilume’s infrared illuminator (IR) steps in alongside night vision to bring more detail to the image. Three power levels give you direct control over the output, so you can adjust the illumination to your situation.
Full device control from your phone
Our Wild Vision mobile app connects directly to Avilume, enabling file transfers, live streaming, and remote settings control. Register your device once and get all the benefits instantly.
Simple controls, more time watching
Alongside comfortable ergonomics, Avilume features an improved graphical user interface that feels immediately familiar. Settings are easy to find and adjustments are quick to make, so the wildlife doesn’t have to wait.
Built-in precise laser rangefinder
The built-in laser rangefinder tells you exactly how far an animal is, up to 1,500 m away. Knowing whether you’re 200 m or 600 m out helps you decide whether to stay put or move closer, without guessing and potentially spooking what you’re watching.
