Photo Submission Requirements and Guidelines

To maintain the integrity and quality of the contest, all photo submissions must comply with the following requirements. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification from the competition.

  1. Single Entry Limit: Each participant is permitted to submit only one photograph for consideration in the contest.
  2. Originality and Ownership: The submitted photograph must be the sole original work of the participant. By submitting a photo, you affirm that you hold all rights, titles, and interests to the image, and that it has not been copied, plagiarized, or previously entered in other contests or publications.
  3. Subject Matter: Photographs must primarily feature wildlife in their natural environments. Images should portray animals ethically, without staging or manipulation that compromises the authenticity of the scene.
  4. Technical Specifications:
    • Minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels to ensure print and display quality.
    • Acceptable file formats are JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg) and PNG (.png).
    • Images must be clear, well-lit, and in focus.
  5. Prohibited Elements:
    • Submissions containing watermarks, signatures, logos, or any other identifying marks will be disqualified.
    • Content depicting endangered or protected species must comply with all relevant laws and regulations and must not show any harm or disturbance to wildlife.
  6. Ethical and Legal Compliance:
    • Photographs must be taken in an ethical manner that respects wildlife and their habitats. No harm, harassment, or illegal activity is permitted in the process of capturing the image.
    • Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or permits for photography on private or restricted property.
  7. Appropriateness:
    • Submitted images must be suitable for all audiences and free from offensive or inappropriate content.

By submitting your photo, you agree to grant the contest organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your image in relation to this contest, with appropriate credit given.
